Cheaters Meat Loaf
2 lbs. ground beef
2 T. Worcestershire Sauce
1 T. seasoned salt
1 egg
1/3 c. ketchup
1 box Stove Top Stuffing (and flavor)
Mix together and put in a loaf pan and bake at 375 for 45 minutes or until fully baked (I often split this in half and cook two loafs side by side in a 9x13 pan so it cooks faster).
This is a super simple recipe with ingredients I like to keep on hand. Serve it up with mashed potatoes and a veggie and suppers on the table!
What's for dinner at your house?
My family can be super picky so I love to try new recipes. Pretty sure my husband doesn't like a single green veggie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for passing along the recipe.
Ohh, if only I took the time to make myself real food. I always tell myself when I get married and have kids I will be a better cook. :) But that dinner looks really good!
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy. :)
ReplyDeleteDinner is leftovers tonight. A few of my friends have been so sweet in bringing me some meals while we have dealt with Pascal being sick. It's been so nice not to cook since I've been so tired! But I love easy, so I'm tucking this one in my back pocket...
Wendy - this is a great meal to make for a picky family. My kids LOVE meat, so anything I can slather ketchup on they gobble up!
ReplyDeleteMelissa - this one is super easy to make, even for someone who doesn't cook much! :)
Sounds good. I will try your recipe the next time I make meatloaf.
ReplyDeleteHubby loves cold meatloaf sandwiches for lunch the next day.

ReplyDeleteLindsay - I love when friends and family brings meals. I just brought a meal to a friend last night. I hope Pascal is doing better! If I was closer I'd send a meal over!!

Joanne - I had never made meatloaf, either, until I found this recipe, now I make it all the time! I hope you enjoy it. :)
Yum! I never thought to put stuffing in meatloaf. Brilliant. :)
ReplyDeleteSupper here will probably be a simple standby--baked chicken breasts wrapped in bacon and topped with provolone cheese.
Ladies try it with different flavors of stuffing!! Mushroom is our families favorite!! Then I pair it with Candy Carrots!! (Carrots with brown sugar, salt and butter!) Our families favorites sit down meal!!
ReplyDeleteI tried your recipe but used ground turkey instead of ground beef and added a tsp of paprika and it was OMG good! Thanks sooo much for sharing this super easy and wonderful recipe!!
ReplyDeleteMade this tonight and it was great. Best of all it was super easy to prepare.
ReplyDeleteJust made this for dinner and WOW it was so good we used the Sage Stove Top flavored stuffing and instead of ketchup I used 1/3 cup tomato soup from Cambells. It was very good. Thanks for this receipe and the tip to make two smaller loaves.
