The Easiest Soup You'll Ever Make!

I love a good recipe, especially one that I can keep all the ingredients on hand and whip together in less than five minutes! When it's delicious, I feel like I've scored big time. :)

Here's the easiest soup you'll ever make (I doubled the recipe and we had a bit left over for lunch the next day):

6 Can Chicken Tortilla Soup
1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
1 (10 ounce) can chunk chicken
1 (15 ounce) can black beans
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with green chili peppers, drained
Tortilla Chips
Sour Cream
Shredded Cheese

Pour contents of cans into a large saucepan or stock pot. Simmer over medium heat until chicken is heated through. Serve with tortilla chips, sour cream and shredded cheese.

I will be taking Wednesday and Friday off from my blog in honor of Thanksgiving! I'm hosting both sides of our families this year, so I'll be busy cooking and cleaning.

What about you? What are your Thanksgiving plans? Are you hosting this year? Or are you traveling?

I hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

  2. Oh, your question. oops. We will be staying home. It will be our first thanksgiving in our new home. Nothing special, being thankful and we plan to put up the Christmas tree and attempt to have a camp out with the kids in the middle of the livingroom. And try to oovoo the grandparents. That's are plans. Hope you and your family have a great one!

  6. Looks yummy!

We're headed to my dad's for Thanksgiving. We usually switch between my family's and Mike's every other year. This year it's my family's. It works out because Mike's parents are out of town this year.
