How fun! I've never been to Minnesota but it looks beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I really have NO idea on any of the questions, so I'll say all A's. Just to be different than Wendy. ;)
B~A~B~D Those are my guess's. I am pretty sure I have the first one right. We did a field trip years ago with some homeschoolers and I can't remember the exact number we were told but I remember the 11 thousand part. No clue really on the rest...just fun to guess at them!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Minnesota~ I am not a native. But it, by far, is better than my homestate of Arkansas in regards to summers! The fishing is better. The summer weather is better. The mosquitos are more plentiful...LOL....not that that is a good thing! Less humidity here than Ark. More snow in the winter....which means a MUCH greater chance for a white Christmas than in Arkansas. Better schools, better medical. And those two things alone keep me here compared to moving back to Arkansas.
Fun post Gabe! And cute pics of the kids!!!I love the one of the boys by the water. They are so sweet!

Oh! I didn't realize this happened. "Will and Harry" are my nephew and his buddy who borrowed our computer. They're cycling across Canada and have a blog. This commentor twas I.
DeleteI was wondering how they came across my blog! That's funny. :) I did stop by their blog and check out their trip - it looks amazing! I hope they stay safe and all goes well for them.
DeleteHahaha!! Now they're going to wonder who you are! I left a short explanation on their blog to clear things up. The total mileage for their trip will be roughly 5000 miles in 3 months. They're such nice guys too. They were quite happy to have food that was A) cooked and B) cooked.
DeleteOh, love the questions but I'm clueless:) I'm stuck just looking at the beautiful pics! Please give your sis a big hello and hug for me - and oh, to hold a new baby again. BLISS!! I try to tuck as many of them as I can into my books! Love his name, too. Bless you and your precious family in your time together, Gabrielle!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a blast in Minnesota. I've never been, but I have a dear friend who lives there so I'd love to make the trip someday! Hmmm...I'm going to show my ignorance and go with B A B B :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you (or the kids at least) were having a great time. My first thought when you called the kids crazy for swimming in the lake in May, was what's so crazy about that? But guess lakes in Minnesota in May are a bit colder than our Mississippi lakes in May. :) As I kid, I used to head for the nearest watering hole in April. Our daughter and her family spent last weekend at the beach (Panhandle of Florida). That's where I was this time last year. Love the beach. Enjoy your time with your sister. I know you are.
